Breathe in… breathe out

Inhale…

Wow! I've just defrosted from a long hibernation friends… I'm now trekking the Android side of life, being an IOs user for more than a year. I'm cautiously putting some order into chaos. I'm not yet exactly sure if I've switched iOS off just yet. Well, I got my first Android phone last 11.27.2011 as part of my network's retention program. It was during our trip to Greenhills with the 'pamangkins' off to see the annual Christmas puppet show which was used to be displayed at COD in Cubao.

Well, my Android experience seems to have been quite an adventure. Having been a Siemens, Sony Ericsson, iPad and Nokia user (in that order), I can say that being on an Android OS, specifically on a device by Samsung, feels I'm strangely at home.

For the next few more weeks or so, I'll drive deeper into the platform, mastering and getting acquainted with its ropes. For the last few weeks of using my phone, I've already rooted (similar to jail-breaking) my Android device. I've gone through a few hoops that already landed me to revert (booting into Android Stock Recovery) to the phone's default state. Yes, that's something most people I know wouldn't even experience within a year's time.

So moving on, yes I'm still pretty much alive and doing the things I love doing. Checking what's up in the tech industry. I know I still have a lot of things to learn and experience in this adventure called discovery. Pardon if the tech geek in me is already getting too much. Feel free to unsubscribe, as if I have any followers. Haha!

…exhale.
